Bulbasaur is easiest for the first two gyms, and the third gym is ineffective against him, so it'll essentially keep you from pulling out your hair. Charmander is the opposite effect, being weak against the first two gyms.

Edit: Oh well, at least he'll be effective against Brock and all the Geodudes in Mt Moon.

After being humiliated by who used to be my BFF, I have been stripped of all goods I had. Without any markets in town and with all my food stolen by Muts, I had to go hunting. Despite losing at Muts's ripped Bulbasaur, Shell could at least fix a meal for us two.
