Phantasy Star Online: Blue Burst

Released only for the PC and XBox it's Phatasy Star Online 1 and 2, with a 4th chapter added. Sonic Team have since stopped hosting their server, so it's been taken up by an unofficial one. This makes it free.

Ok, now take all the basic parts of all of those and shove them together into an epic 'build your own vehicle' engine, which involves a complex algorithm to determine it's stats and qualities, including range, power and potency of attacks, speed on land, sea or air, and massive base design. Pretty much, it's a very easy-to-learn and quick-to-play game where the user designs, names and produces their very own weapons.

Oh. And I'll put it this way. What Spore does for creatures, Warzone does for vehicles.

So, you want a good, small sized, decently looking, very very addictively fun, LEGALLY FREE game?
