These sprites could use more contrast to be honest. Not only make the shades darker, but also employ some hue shifting in there.
Err, hey, just bumping because I had these submitted for months and so far I haven't gotten an acception OR a rejection. It just seems to be sitting there in the Pending Submissions. I don't know if this is a glitch or not, or if any of the Admins/Mods simply missed it. Should I resubmit it? I hear ppl say that sprites could take a long time to be accepted, but i've seen earlier sprites get accepted in like 1-2 days. I have a feeling that my sprites may have been skipped. What should I do?
I could wait longer... but I have a feeling that there is another problem because last time I submitted them it was almost immediate. Could any admin/mods double check to see if my sprites are still on the pending submissions? They might not be there.

I was hoping you'd get more comments on how to improve them a bit before we accept. Things like the shading on the masks, the colors of some of the Shyguys (yellow and light blue), and the slipshod shading on the ghost could use some work.

Is he supposed to look like he's just scooting sideways?

Yeah I don't know why but whenever I create a topic on any forum, I never get that many replies or pageviews :p it's like a curse or something. Anyways, I am improving the colors of the shyguys and the slipshod. I'm not sure what to do with the mask though, do you want me to shade it more? Or less? I can change it for the other ones.

It's not the lightening of the shades on the mask that are the issue. It's the shadow, itself. Your shading makes it look like a completely flat surface with hexagonal sides. It's not. Check out some of the art for the Shyguys, or their graphics in more modern games.
