These are not nuts. So why are they called doughnuts? (Everyone: why is this guy making bad doughnut jokes?) Thanked by: Cyberguy64

Nuts as in hardware; the ring of metal you put a bolt into, except here, they're made of dough. Doughnuts.

Oh look! More YouTube crap. Well I wanna get this outline-less thing right at least once so I tried to make my Markimoo. :p

Link and Zelda.

The Link and Zelda are pretty good. Wouldn't mind seeing them continue. ^.-.^

Well, here's some stuff with a shield layer, And without. Ignore the bottom frames. I gotta redo em, especially since Link is generally left handed.

PBG in a Luigi outfit. Why not. (Also, unlockable costumes may be a thing)

Testing the animation here. The legs move nicely and he's got a good bounce to him. I just think the arms look a little weird; they're kinda hard to read. Maybe if you upped the depth shading or something, I dunno.

Little character for a game that I want to make but probably never will, And slight Link update. Thanked by: Joxon

Your palette selection on Link and Zelda is rather lacking. They're way too bright with no darker or less saturated colors to give them depth or distinction.
Credit where credit's due though. That's a crispy smooth walk cycle you've got going on, though I'd do some tweaking to the hat. Most of the bounce on it is wonderful, but there are a few frames here and there where it stutters and looks awkward, mostly where the brim goes down over his hair.

Sooooo, I wasn't sure exactly what you meant with the colours. I tried my best though. I'm trying to keep the pallete as small and simple as possible. Thanked by: Cyberguy64

Definitely getting there. You can see the folds of the fabric a lot better now, and the light/shadow distinction definitely gives him a feeling of depth now. Unfortunately, the few dark green pixels on the hat look a little messy. I can tell what you were aiming for, but being just a few dark pixels, they look out of place all on their lonesome.
Quick tip, lighter colors look less out of place providing depth as singular pixels then darker colors do. You generally want a large dark base that you can build on with lighter colors. |
