Too many conflicting opinions.
I'm keeping the newest one and thats the end of it. 3 days on one sprite way to long.
The style will be like this.
Human(oid?) characters such as Mario, Peach, Toad etc. will have Black, White and a color due to there not bieng a good skin tone color. Monsters and "other" such as Bowser, his children, enemies, will have black, a color, and a lighter hue of that same color. No mixing different colors.

Ludwig is my favorite, this one is based on the SPP version, which is a lot more interesting than the ugly SMW sprites. He's not done, but I don't think I'll finish him or the 6 other koopalings. I want to *attempt* to animate what I have now. Will be simple NES quality, probably four frame (which is enough in my opinion) walk cycles. Maybe I'll finish the Koopalings later on. Also fixed up Bowser (AGAIN) and Koopa + Piranha plant. The Piranha plant and the warp pipe are separate sprites.

I've been watching this thread, and I haven't seen anyone give enough correct Bowser crit so I decided I'd make an edit to point on the only problems I see.

Mine's on the right.

The mouth was curved in too much of a smile. It was a tad odd, imo, so I gave him more of that smile/snarl he has. Teeth also weren't very visible, so I messed with them too. I also made him lean forward a bit, he looked too uniform.

You're doing a great job with these limits, though, bro, so keep it up!
