I did. IIRC he told me once in a thread that he believes Diddy was nerfed because it happened immediately upon Sakurai attending the Japanese tournament he attended, and he wouldn't be wrong. The guy is just the best at the game, I don't think a nerf to the HOO HAH would change anything since that wasn't the only thing that made him great.
Tires don exits
HOO HYPE
well, it wasnt just hoo hah that was nerfed. they made his attacks weaker, increased end lag for some attacks, etc. because of this, diddy kong went from the best to being a little above average. zero even said at one point that he'd drop diddy if he kept on getting nerfed. (in which he did, for sheik) that's why i was surprised when zero went for diddy at GRAND FINALS. :0
speaking of nerfed, most top melee player were playing sloppyyyyy. mang0 was about to get out of losers by (drugged fox, was it?). 3vo for mang0 probably aint gonna happen.
tbh, idk who will win grand finals for melee. m2k says plup, but i kinda doubt that.

Hungrybox actually has a decent shot at Evo, he clocked Leffen AGAIN (never sleep on Puff, Puff sleeps on you). He's literally on the road to avoiding Mango, who I hope gets knocked out before he reaches him... Hungrybox has a shot at beating any of the gods EXCEPT Mango, kind of like how Mango's kryptonite is Armada.
Kiiiiinda wanna see Armada v. Mango happen, GOAT said he'd counterpick Falcon if he had to face either his Fox or Peach (?). 8 unique character mains in Top 8 right now, yet Falcon not being one of them makes me sad.

Hungrybox is great. But alas Armada came out on top. As much as I don't care about Fox in Melee, he did good and deserved it.

Have you been living under a rock LOL
Every GS now has Battletoads plastered all over the store and in their retro ads and for awhile, they answered the phone "Yes, we have Battletoads"
I know what you're getting at tho you needed a nice segue with this topic sorry for takin the potshot here it's really VGR at fault here for not updating that "epic" "oldie but goodie" memery

I don't even play this game but it's just great seeing how seamless the transition is for this character. Like, it's so bizarre to see a Battletoads character in this game and just thinking about it, it sounds crazy. But like, once you see him in action (and how he works) he's just perfect and fits right in with the cast.
It makes me kinda wonder though
what if they put a ninja turtle in the game...

I found this guy who runs weekly Street Fighter and Skull Girls tournaments if anybody's interested.
https://www.youtube.com/user/RonaldKonoha/videos
He posts some of the tourney stuff on his Youtube.
If you're seeing this post within 4 hours of the posting, there's a USF4 tourney going on right now.

Who here plays Puyo Puyo? We could always use more players in Puyo VS 2. See Puyo Nexus for more details.
Basically, it's a fanmade program that allows people from across the world to play Puyo matches with each other. A great way to test your skills if you've mostly been playing against CPUs and getting better. There's a free battle system where you can start a room with people you know or request to have a match with from the chatroom, and there's also a ranked match system that will put you against players who are closer to your skill level. The only awkward thing about the ranked matches in that regard, is that since your rank is undetermined in the first 5 or so matches you play, you'll be up against moderate to high skilled players at first. It's not until you lose against those most of the time for those first 5 matches or so, that the game knows to match you up with lower ranked people.
Does anyone else here play the competitive Hearth Stone & Final Fantasy Tactics Hybrid Duelyst? Gamees fun, still in beta, but free. Try it if you haven't pretty low intense game. MOBILE and iOS versions coming soon apparently. https://duelyst.com/
