Gosh dangit I keep meaning to write my lists earlier in the week but I keep getting distracted until the last minute.

#6: The ability to be fully healed just by eating crap - Most video games

I mean, duh. This is especially true for games where said crap is stuff that's not actually supposed to be healthy for you, like candy or burgers.

#5: The ability of having a huge hidden inventory of tools on your person - Link, Legend of Zelda

A common trope in Video Games, but the reason I pick Link's version specifically is because of the way that tools only have any effect on the user when they've been taken out, like how the Iron Boots or the Ball and Chain have intense weight but only when Link unpockets them. I'd love to have the ability to carry a few bowling balls in my pocket just to have something to throw at someone trying to mug me.

#4: The ability of practical invulnerability - Wario, Wario Land 2 & 3

Crush yourself flat to get in tight places, or light yourself on fire to freak out and impress your friends. Best of all every condition is cureable by simply touching water. And of course, not being able to die is its own reward.

#3: The ability to quick-jump to anywhere you've been before - Xenoblade

Teleporting is pretty common in video games, but Xenoblade's quick jump is one of the quickest and most useful since you can jump to anywhere you would consider a "landmark". I suppose there are other games with a nearly identical features but this is the first one to pop into my head, since I've played it recently. So there.

#2: The ability to catch any creature and have it obey your every command - Pokemon

Although if Pokeballs were to become a real thing, I think we'd see a lot more animals used in warfare.

#1: The ability to paint anything and make it real - Adeline, Kirby 64

It's like Maxwell's Notebook, but cooler because you can create any abstract thing you think up and not just things with specific names attributed to them. I'd probably make myself so many little weird creature friends.

1. Infinite Appetite

Characters like Kirby and Yoshi are able to just eat and eat, usually without any ill effects to their body or health. They just gorge themselves endlessly. I don't know where it all goes, I don't care.. all I know is that I want the ability to shovel down food with total abandon.

2. Morph Ball

Waking up sucks. I hate it. The worst part is the "up". If I could just turn into a ball and roll out of bed like Samus, that would make things a lot easier.

3. Auto-Healing

This seems to be popular in FPS games right now. Get shot? Not a problem! Just crawl behind a rock and sit tight for a few seconds while your body rapidly regenerates for no apparent reason!

4. No Need to Breathe

It seems like a lot of video game characters don't have an issue staying under water forever (Donkey Kong) or just hanging out in space. I want this. Lungs are obsolete.

5. Projectile Production

I want to hadouken.

6.

Since St. Patrick's Day is this weekend I thought maybe I should do one related to the holiday, but what? Favorite Green-Clad characters? No, that one is way too easy and most people are going to claim the same group of characters. Something to do with drinking? There actually isn't that much drinking of alcohol in video games and a lot of it tends to get censored out in various regions.

But that thought gave me an idea, although its a bit of a stretch to say it has anything to do with the holiday:

Week #8: Top 10 Favorite (or least favorite) Censorships in Video Games

You know, any incidents of censorship in Video Games that you find either amusing, interesting, or stupid. It doesn't necessarily have to be stuff that got censored between regions, self-censorship also counts, like the milk that gets people drunk in the Zelda games.

If you need any ideas just Google censorship in video games and I'm sure you'll come up with a ton.

The milk is more of a euphemism isn't it?

I can't think of any censors I like honestly.

The milk bar in Majora's Mask is definitely meant to be a milk bar, so I wouldn't call that censorship. Soda Popinski from punch-Out however is a better example since it was originally alcohol.

I kinda like how Contra had to be remade to have robots as "Probotector" because Germans are babies apparently. The robots kinda look cool even though I hate censorship in general.

I can't really think of 10 examples of game censorship...or at all :/

My favorite, though not really "censored" was finding Peach's ???

If anyone recalls where that line comes from, then I'll be impressed.

it's ok to suck, sucking is not bad, just try and aim to always do your best!

Okaaaay ... I feel I made an error in judgement. I guess I thought more people around here were really into game trivia and would have some fun with that last one. I feel like I'd be kind of a tool to be the only one posting a list soooo ... I guess we'll just pretend that one didn't happen and call this one week #8. Sorry 'bout that.

Week #8: Top 10 Favorite Enemy Designs

Forget everything you know about your favorite enemies in video games. Forget their motivations, plots, goals, powers, et cetera. This week we're getting superficial and judging villains solely on their looks. What antagonists do you think has the greatest aesthetics? Tell us what is it about their design that appeals to you. Do you like simple designs? Do you prefer them sexy? Do you prefer monstrous appearances? Or perhaps more cartoony comical ones?

1. Toon Ganondorf. One of the most intimidating adversaries ever. Twin blades, and a massive figure. Epitome of bad ass.
2. Bowser. My first experience with Bowser was Super Mario 64. I remember reaching the first fight with him and that hallway scared the shit out of me as a kid, especially when Peach's painting changed to Bowser and a trap door opened up underneath me.
3. Chaos Witch Quelaag. A horrifically beautiful design, simple as that.
4. Bone Drago from Yoshi's Story. Scared the heck out of me as a kid.

Will continue later.

10. Linx from Chrono Cross
9. Lavos from Chrono Trigger
8. Kel'Thuzad
7. The X-Com Aliens
6. The World - Bastion
5. The Extra Evil forms in Xenoverse
4. Cazadors - Fallout New Vegas
3. Heartless
2. Dark Archons from Starcraft 1
1. Big Daddies from Bioshock.

The labels are kind of arbitrary here and I'm very tired so some of these are subject to change if when I remember about this, I have time and care for it.
