Which sucks, because I'd rather see Pokemon that aren't as well represented. Machamp is great. But then we have everyones favorite waifu, the corporate mascot, the pokemon that every furry beats off to, and the most popular 3rd gen starter who is the embodiment of Popeye's. I guess Suicune gets a pass, but shit it was even the mascot for a game. Although I don't really mind Pikachu because he has so much character in this game

The only Smash Pokemon is be fine with would be Pichu, and that's only for shits and giggles. I'm tired of seeing Charizard everywhere and I'm indifferent about Jiggly

I really don't feel like fan material should count towards a character's representation. Blaziken and Gardevoir are fan favorites, absolutely, but they really are low down on the list of characters Nintendo actually uses. Lucario and Pikachu are really the only two "A-List" Pokemon to be shown so far.

Although I'd also like to see more of the relatively obscure characters. Pinsir would be awesome (and if he had a rivalry with Heracross? fffffyes)

I disagree. I'm not saying the game has to be filled with the most obscure Pokemon, but only 1 of the characters isn't a giant fan favorite. I mean c'mon

I'd be all over Lanturn being in the game. Still the best Pokemon IMO~ Thunderbolt, Ice Beam, Waterfall or Surf, and some other move can take care of a good number of mon.

The only fish that would work is Magikarp, because it's supposed to be bad. Just have it flop around and do minimal damage.... like the Dan of the game or something.

I don't want a fish pokemon to fly around like in stadium either.

Fun fact, there was originally a trout character planned for Tekken. It'd just be a trout and flop around. However, they felt that whoever picked it would be pissed that they just wasted their money

Or just randomly, his flail will instant KO. I'd be that guy in a fighter game.
