Speaking of competitive players though, the Pokken International was today at the Pokemon World Championships and Justin Wong was there, lol (and D1 was casting!) It was kinda remarkable because you had these pro players play the game for only a few hours and actually figure out the engine in such a short period of time, doing pretty decent against one another.

I think what went on today will be rebroadcasted on Monday but footage for the game will pop up again sooner or later

Pikachu Libre is one of the costumes that Cosplay Pikachu can wear, and Cosplay Pikachu is ALWAYS FEMALE in ORAS




so yeah no matter what, pikalibre is a strong, independent fighter who dont need no trainer

So the dressup Pikachu on ORAS can only be Female?  I haven't played them, so this is the first I've heard of it.  If that's true, that's kinda BS for those who don't have any females on their main team and wanted to dress their 'mon up.

Although seriously, another Pikachu? I'd have preferred for the roster to be a little bit more fleshed out before we got multiple Chus.

Also fun fact: the cosplay Pikachu can technically be male. It has to be hacked in because the encounter is set up to always be female, but there is a male cosplay Pikachu coded. It's not like a Tauros/ Miltank situation. However there's no difference, the male cosplay Pikachu still has a heart-shaped tail.
