Also i can't help you if you're rendering in 3DS Max. I only use that to rip stuff.

What would you say to use for Maya? I have Maya. If i have to i'll learn to use it.

Hey, new to the forums so sorry if I'm missing something obvious here.

Is there a way to get these models in a format compatible with blender without using 3ds Max? I tried using the script from the OP in 2010 3ds Max, but it caused it to crash. I'd really like to contribute to this project if I can, but I'd need to get around this hurdle first. I know 3ds Max has a free trial period, but it still asks for credit card info that I'd rather not give out if I don't have to.

Nope. None at all. You'll have to wait for Noesis to have a Sm4shU script.

hah... i know that Chrrox was working on a noesis script... like back in March? But since the script was released for 3ds max, he seemed to have quit on it.

Does Anybody have the BCH and the textures for Little Mac (SSB for 3DS) ? I want to try ripping this one but the RTB mediafire link only contains the Wii U Models.

Smash3ds models are kinda... hard to get... since they have their bones and textures inside BCH files, while the model is stored in a MBN file, I can get u the textures for now if u wish.
