That's not what the phrasing implies. It currently reads as "I want to kill people IRL but can't; so I live out my sick fascination with killing in games instead." I play a fair few violent games, and No More Heroes is a blast, but not because I'm killing people. That's just creepy. =/

Games like Burnout give me the sense of speed that I love, and making other cars crash helps me relieve stress.

Blowing up pretend things for free is fun.
Also, pretty images and flashy shiny lights make me And if you like pretty images and flashy lights, YOU SHOULD DEFINITELY PLAY SCARLET-- Oh forget it. >

I personaly enjoy games because I find them as a way of interactive story telling and a lost art form.
Okami is proof of my last statement because the game uses Art as a game mechanic and the story is perfection in my opinion. However, sports games are just simulations of the real world sports, there's no story, no art, just bloody frickin' sports games that you can play outside, but you're too lazy to do it.

You could try to kill non-existing monsters in real life, but that probably wouldn't get you in trouble. In a mental hospital maybe. Games are still created and enjoyed in circulation. Not quite 'lost' yet.

And football where you can kick fucking fireballs into other people?
Where can I do that in real life, because I'm interested.

But I think I enjoy it the most when it takes in one direction only, like when they make almost as if it were an interactive movie, or if they just wanted fighting to be involved, either way, all games are fun if made the right way.

I don't want to "kill" people. I just want to "hurt" some curtain beings. So I take out my anger on Ridley and such.

You don't take anger out on creatures! You take them out on machines! It's much more satisfying to see a giant vehicle exploding in flames then to jump on a goomba.
