PSound and Fate Unlimited Codes

Another question from me :p

When I use PSound on the Fate Unlimited Code ISO, some of thesounds you hear in game like the noble phantasms aren't in the files.
But there a bunch of unreadable files.

Am i missing something as I rip?

Most likely.

PSound can only really read .ADX files well, with some other audio files, mostly ones associated with BGMs. It can dive through different compressed files, but different types like .AHX and other files? You need something else.

Personally, I had better luck actually decompressing any audio files myself and then converting the .ADX and other files with other programs.

Thank you for your reply and I found my issue.

The file with the voices has everything that I'm looking for.
I can play the files on PSound with no issues but when I try to extract, the files end up as 1 KB and I cannot listen to them on my computer.
Afterwards, my PSound can no longer play any sounds but does not freeze.

Got anything to use on .afs files? I've tried looking around but none of the programs have worked.

Give Puyotools a try. It lists .afs as one of the types it can convert.

The Puyotools worked and now there's just files.

Any way to mass convert them since Psound won't work for me?

...okay, I'm... not liking what that's coming up as. No offense, but I'm not downloading that.

Are you sure this is even an audio file?

No it's fine haha. I was in a rush to upload it.

It opens up in Psound and I can hear it and extract from there so I assume it's somehow related to a sound file but with no extension.

If it comes up in PSound, you should be able to save it from there. You can also stick it in something that will let you see the file header so you can see what the actual extension is supposed to be.
