Extracting 3DS Models without a 3DS.

Yes! Ironhax isn't patchable. Unless of course you updated IronFall, in which case you're screwed.

Did you upload the payload to *hax2.5 yet?

It's possible to use *hax2.5 with smashhax, you'll need Linux to send out the beacon to your Smash 3DS game for it to work though. I managed to extract Ace Attorney 5: Dual Destinies with it.

I have no idea how to do any of this, I ma stuck trying to use ctrKeyGen.py with my SonicGenerations.3DS file to create a ncchinfo.bin, but I drag it over it and nothing happens.

Download the toolpack above and extract using 7-zip or WinRAR
Using the command below, convert your .CIA file to .CCI (if it's already .3ds, .3dz, .cci, or .csz, you dont have to do this)

Code:

makerom -ciatocci [pathtocia]

The makerom executable will output a .cci file we can open with 3DSROMTool
Open up your converted .cci file and click on 'Extract RomFS'. Once that's done we can simply click on 'Unpack RomFS'. Once that's done you'll have a folder with decrypted, encrypted and unpacked folders. Just go into unpacked and all your unpacked files should be there

Sorry, but I can't fill in the blanks on where to type that command besides cmd. I tried relocating the 3DSRomTools to drive C, place my .cia file there, and ran the command using cmd with run as administrator. Is there something I missed? Thanks for your help!

I figured it out. I don't know how to write the path I wrote the command from drive c but it didn't work
