Hi people,
I have some issues with the texturing of a couple models from "Alice Madness Returns" in blender, and while those issues are different, I thought they were similar enough to allow for a single thread instead of couple similar ones.
The first issue I have is with a model which I think is unused, so i can't have screenshots and it could be flawed in the game files themselves. It's an automaton with a cyclops-like eye, but the texture on the eye doesn't fit well.
An animation shows that the front of the eye is there, in that screenshot below, but should be on top of the eyeball and rotated 90 degrees to fit correctly when inside the socket.
Do you think there is a way for me to move the texture around on the sphere? I tried using a "Mapping" Node to rotate the texture but it didn't work...
The second issues is with a model consisting of a dirty colored glass panel. The game files only contain a "glass" texture that is the dirtiness but the color is to be added separately. And I don't know how I can give the texture a base color and add details on top of it that are unaffected by the base color? I join a screenshot of the model in-game below (in french, don't mind it) as an example.
But I only manage to have either the glass texture, but colored, or a uniform color without the details being added on top, but not both at the same time.
Finally, I have an issue similar to the one above with a bottle of colored liquid. I only have a "splash" texture in the game files, so the idea is more or less the same, I must add a base color the the liquid, make it slightly transparent, then add details that are not transparent and a different color on top of it. I added a screenshot below (again in french)
As you can see, a deep purple (but slightly transparent) water with slightly lighter splashes on it. (The water color should be darker but don't mind that, it should be easy to correct). However, while i did manage to add the splashes on the colored texture, I can't make them anything but dark, while it should be lighter...
Could anyone give me a hint regarding one or a couple of these? I'll add a link below containing all the game files related to these models (available for a week, expires on 03/22) here https://we.tl/t-786xqiHogx . Any help would be appreciated! Feel also free to let me know if I should add any file or info whatsoever.
Thanks in advance everyone!
