Alternate universes.

Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire aknowledge the existence of alternate universes and even hints at the fact that it takes place in an alternate universe from the original Ruby and Sapphire rather than being the same, but rebooted.

Maybe Ash-Greninja, after being set free by Ash, ends up in an alternate universe. Perhaps even the Ultra Beasts tie into this.

I wouldn't mind it being a sign that Yellow gets remade for an anniversary. I know we had FireRed/LeafGreen, but neither had the content of Yellow, like getting all three starters, or game Jessie/Musashi and James/Kojiro.

Demo version was released today and I managed to download it.

Spoiler: it goes by so quick, just your arrival and your photography training with some of the debuting Pokemon (spoiler within a spoiler: it's not the new starters) and that's it, all in less than an hour.

Good to hear it's kinda short though honestly. Also it sounds like the Internet's exploding with leaks via datamining, so those who don't like spoilers may want to unplug your Internet for the next few weeks until next month.

The demo has a lot of characters saying "in X number of days, something big is gonna happen here!"

Odds are each npc like that will give you a little something like a nugget or other items to transfer to the main game.

I know all the stuff is basically leaked, but the latest trailer has REALLY sold me on basically all three starters. I very rarely like all three, in fact I think the only time before was Gen 4, but I like the typing and the design of these three. Litten's evo has particularly taken me by surprise, as I wasn't sure if I'd like it, but seeing it animated gives it a lot of charm.

I kinda wish I hadn't watched the trailer. There was a lot of information in it I would have preferred unspoiled. Oh well.

Gotta say those final evolutions definitely look better in practice than they did in the concept stages. Particularly the owl.

I just came here to say that Red is the first Husbando to actually make it to my Waifu list due to his sheer manliness.

But no seriously I actually dig Red's design hands down. Down to the shirt I actually appreciate that they aren't just re-hashing his original design.

So apparently the game has leaked in some areas, so be wary about reading info online unless you want it to be spoiled. Though the very few things I did read about have me quite pleased and/or intrigued.

Also I heard the story is halfway decent.

From what I saw, regarding the League...

Once you beat the E4 and become champ, running through again and beating the E4 means you have to defend your title against a random Trainer, your rival included. Nothing special happens if you lose, unfortunately, you just white/black out like normal. But it's nice to see you actually take the role of a champion this time around.

I hope that becomes a staple, and they expand on it further, so that more happens.
