You see... When I step my boundaries of the homework perimeters. I am berated for it because "if I start working for someone I need to draw exactly what they want." But then it struck me, if that said company wanted an artist that does that, then they don't want an artist. They want a pencil pusher with no art skill to come up and draw for them. I realized that my color and design teacher's method is effectively like a copy machine rather than an art class. it's a method of saying that works of art aren't good enough when compared to the conformed drawings.

I know this is a really dark thing to throw into the ring but it was something on my mind for a while

Well, in the REAL WORLD a good practice would be to draw six sketch thumbnails where you can exercise your creativity and ask your client "hey, do you like one of these particular designs?" and if they don't like any of them, listen to them and make six more quick sketches based around their input. if you find yourself drawing more than 120 quick sketcches for one particular phase your client is hopeless and just draw whatever the fuck you want

since jetters tore off the shaft part of the "dick", it means it was a penectomy

if she tore off the balls first, that would be castration

And, if jetters attempted to stuff all of it in her mouth, that would be emasculation

But yea in seriousness, I managed to accomplish two whole things yesterday! HOLY SHNITZELS THAT'S LIKE HIGHLY UNUSUAL FOR ME

I finished up a story that I posted to me Tumbls and did A Chore. Plus my first niece just came into the world last night (and on my great grandmother's birthday, too -- that means all three of my sister's children were born on a birthday of someone else in the family.

Yea you read that right. IT WASN'T EVEN PLANNED (well except this one was kinda induced but it was late and could have not happened on the same day y'know?).

Also I was hanging out with my mom last night which was good. I made her feel better because a shitty thing happened at the hospital where the nurse didn't let her see the baby be born and she missed it and well, it just feels really damn good to be loved so much you know?

Random question, does anyone know a good website for a blog? A combination of posting text and images preferably. I've been devising a dumb idea in my downtime that I need something like that for.

I prefer Blogspot/Blogger myself, although it doesn't have the immediate reach that a lot of the other options have. A lot of people like Livejournal I guess? I've never even been to the site, myself.

And then, yeah, there's tumblr which can probably also work out well if you can figure it out.

If it's not something too formal, I'd recommend Tumblr. You can even make "private" posts which no one can see but are visible in the form of an actual post and save drafts. It even has a variety of media posting formats.
