[Opinions] 3D character model

3D Modelling
Hi everybody,

i just created an account here to see what feedback i can get on this 3D character im working on for a game.
so, I´m a mediocre programmer and a rather mediocre 3D modeler but none the less I´v decided to start working on a game idea that I´v had for a few years now. You can think of the game as a fighter so there is a minimal amount of polys on screen at a time (I guess) this is my first model for the game and what will become the base for further characters.

suggested topics:
-im not sure how the face is looking
-im defenetly having trouble wih the hands
-the head shape is also kinda wonky
-i think i´v got the body down though

any thoughts, comments, teardowns or opinions are apreciated.

based on the feedback i´v seen on other models here i look forward to seeing what new insight i can get from you guys

million thanks in advanced.

Looks pretty good.

My only gripe is that the hands are a tad too large.
I like to make models in my free time. I also make weird games, too.

thanks!

yeah, the proportions are a stylistic choice. although the hands may be  a bit on the too large side  Tongue I'll tone them down and see what it looks like.

Same as the other, the Hands looks strange (Im not saying bad, just strange)

But well, as you said, is an Stylistic choice, so maybe when its painted or finished it will look better Big Grin (But looks good enough right now)

Just a bit of advice: The fingers on a hand each have three separate joints. The thumbs have two. The head will probably look better once you add hair. Not bad overall, though. By the way, what are you using? I found out a way to increase the polygon count in Blender last month just by playing around with it. If you hold ctrl and pressing a number between 1-5 (below the F keys). Holding Ctrl and pressing 0 seems to undo it.
