How to rip Disney Infinity 3.0 models (PS4 ONLY)
#1
Hi folks... Reasonably new to the ripping 3D geometry realm.. Have successfully learnt to capture/rip DI3 models on PC, import into 3ds Max and I self rig from there... Now that Disney have recently discontinued the franchise, my chances of getting the Marvel Battlegrounds update on PC are pretty much zilch!.. Therefore I've turned to the PS4 version as I own the console in hope of achieving the same result... I have no idea to achieve this (if it's possible!?).. So here I am in desperate hope that anyone can point me in the right direction/link me a tutorial on how to do it... Reading up on a thread here, someone mentioned using 'Noesis' but I have no idea on how to implement this!!??... Do I connect my console to PC and capture or just rip the PS4 disc to Windows and extract from there???...
A tutorial would be awesome but any suggestions greatly appreciated!!!

Thanks in advance

PlayStation 4 ripping is currently impossible due to the encryption used on the files, so you're pretty much out of luck in that regard... for now. :/

Reason why I say "for now" is it's pretty much inevitable that someone'll figure it out in the next three or four years. Happened for the PlayStation 3, XBox 360 and recently the Wii U, after all.

Have PS4 games even been dumped yet?

I've read up on websites/forums that a Brazilian shop has managed to do this with a raspberry pi.. Google 'copy ps4 game brazil' & should give you a few results.. I might invest in a raspberry in hope of coming across a tutorial on how to do it as it seems it's the only way to copy ps4 games atm (as far as I know)... Next challenge would be to get it onto pc, bypass the encryption and rip the data, hopefully 3d geometry!!! Big Grin

Do you have any ideas on how to do it on Xbox 360?
