Work on Cascade Temple Zone is halted because I want to complete my SA2 spritesheet first.
Proving that I'm working on it:

Roll/Spindash sprites are made partly by Hey-Pi-Ron.
EDIT: I forgot to fix shading on waiting sprite. Oh well, I'll fix it later.

honestly i liked the other background more, the level hides too much of the work you've done on the new one.

I really like the jumping/spindash sprites! the skincolored part of his face still looks like it takes up a bit too much space (and it's shaped a bit odd, for standing and walking for example).

otherwise they look much better! for whatever reason i have a bit of an obsession with fan-made sonic sprites lol...

I look froward to the completed sheet when it's done. Always a pleasure to see more custom Sonic stuff. Including yours. 
And it's good you did the corkscrew animation, because that's the one people have the most trouble with.

In my opinion, I wish they kept those shoes. unfortunately, they were a piece blatant product placement.
Kinda reminds me of how blatant Zool was with all the Chupa Chups branding in his game.

To the question, I have rev2 version of ModGen Sonic on my HDD(that with Unleashed look). As for now, on the site there's only minisheet release of it. Could I upload it to submissions?

Well this is starting to turn out nicely. You're doing great with Advance-to-Genesis converting. Loving the modern spring, as well.
Since the goal is to make this Sonic ROM hack friendly. Are you planning to do all the games, or just Sonic 2?
