Nah. It just ends in her falling. She can use her mid-air attacks while falling to follow up.
Maybe her attack ends and she bounces backwards when she lands it, maintaining her upward momentum.

So in essence if it connects she bounces backward and up? Can do it either way.

A magic circle? Whatever could this be for?
Earth Dragon appeared!
The green dragons are staple first bosses in the Bouncy Cat series (second in Mao).
Balloon Dragon appeared in the first Bouncy Cat, Emerald Dragon in the prequel Bouncy Cat Mao, Viridian Dragon in Princess Fantasy and Earth Dragon in Super Bouncy Cat.
So how is Princess summoning the dragon from Super Bouncy Cat?
Battle Card Monster Summon! It's Princess' Back Kick attack. The magic circle appears under the (nearest) opponent, no matter Princess' position. Mechanically, it's inspired by some of the Blast Moves in the DBZ Budokai Tenkaichi games, where an explosion appears on the opponent's position. Visually, it's inspired by Yu-Gi-Oh.
Example of layering.

Other dragons might appear during the card summon attack, like Black Luster. ( Original art)
Black Luster is one of the antagonists I created for a very old Game Maker game called Terra Crashers 2. It's fought multiple times and got upgraded as the story went on, with Mk. V being his final and most powerful form. This is the form the latest redesign, and this summon, is based on. Black Luster Mk. V was finished on a space station, but was unsuitable for Earth's gravity due to square-cube law. It's so massive, it'd collapse under its own weight. Despite this flaw, this machine was a major threat even from outer space.
Sure, it's smaller here, but it's merely a projection of a trading card. A projection that does physical damage. You know, Yu-Gi-Oh logic.

Aww, making me layer crap now? Geez.
Just kidding, I love it all.

Layers aren't that hard, right? (This is Game Maker experience talking, by the way)
This is Caramel, the dragon I created for a game idea called Radish. You know, the same would-be game that would've featured the titular Radish you see in one of Neko's alternate specials and Icicle as the true final boss.
Boredom might cause more of these dragons to appear. It'll actually be like drawing cards, knowing what dragons are in your deck, but not knowing which one you'll summon until you draw. Difference is that every card is the same, except for the artwork.

I like this card dragon thing. The Black Luster one sounds like a combination of black luster soldier and one of the mecha phantom beasts.

I dunno about TomGuycott, but for me it's as simple as changing the depth coordinate. When you say *nearest* opponent, does that mean it'll also target assists or other attackable objects? Also, are multiple dragons allowed to appear if the player spams the attack?

It appears only under the nearest player.
Forgot to mention that only one dragon can appear at a time. If Princess tries to summon another while one is out, she'll flash the card, but nothing'll happen.

Is there more frames you are planning for her? I've been adding her in gradually, but because of the crappy way the palette system works I can't finalize her until I have no more frames to add.
The palette system has been getting on my nerves so much lately, it constantly sets me back.
Also, could you add the brown dragon to the sheet? It's just easier for me than decompiling the gif into frames.

Added Caramel (brown dragon) to the sheet on the first post.
I had a feeling I could've added more before updating the sheet, but eventually didn't. I have no more plans for additional frames.

A new intro for Princess:
Phoenix, the final boss of Super Bouncy Cat, flies over and drops Princess onto the stage. Her falling animation can be one of the following:
1. A normal landing using her falling frame of her jump animation.
2. She twirls down using her Heli Twirl Attack animation.
3. She messes up and lands face first with the last three frames of her Kick 2 animation.
The sheet in the first post is updated.
