Hey Gors, it's nice to have you back and all but uh... I don't know how you obtained your previous moderator position in being unbanned.

When you left we obviously adjusted to you not being around, and now that you're back, you don't seem to be setting a great example of upholding the rules that staff are supposed to. You're a cool guy, and a friend, but you understand where I'm coming from I'm sure.

I've added you to the retired staff post. Please remember that even though you were an admin and staff previously, you still have to abide by rules, just like the current staff do.

ouch, dude. I would've waited until the fifth post, maybe he would've done something that shows he's actually willing to help around the forums of whatnot. keep in mind that gors was banned on his own accord - he didn't actually do anything wrong or out of line - he just needed a little sabbatical. but with such a tightly-knit community, it's kinda hard. really. especially when you were as dedicated to the community as gors was. (or me - i was too)
i mean you know i love you dazz (and our platonic love is indeed mutual ) but you really did come off a bit aggressive - like i understand you're running a forum that's now quiet but for one or two posts that are kinda in jest, that's kind of a real hardline attitude to be taking. and uh

to be fair, given the post I quoted before, the tone certainly did come off as a bit aggressive, so it's no shocker he responded the way he did, especially when you're being kinda hard on him in the first place. yuck

For the record, that group change was not as a result of this thread. While I do think the initial "joke" was in somewhat poor taste, it certainly isn't bad enough to demod someone. In this case, when he left (of his own accord, as you pointed out), he was removed from his position at the same time. This is standard procedure. When he was unbanned, for some reason he was added back to the moderators group automatically but this wasn't intended.

That said, welcome back. Aggressive, joking, or otherwise, it's good to see you again. Sarcasm doesn't translate well to text though so toning it down a little wouldn't hurt (which you've already admitted to and corrected so this is more to reinforce my previous point).
