Allowed to upload Call of Duty models?

Hey world. I have a ton of Call of Duty models that id like to upload but... I noticed on here theres not any models. is their a reason why? copyright issues or people just not interested in it?

To answer your question, people probably either didn't know how to rip them or simply haven't done so.

Now, to propose a question of my own; you ripped them yourself, correct? As in, they are not someone else's rips or taken from another website? If that is the case, please feel free to post a couple for the staff to evaluate!

Yes they are my very own rips. also I doubt people have uploaded some of the models I have on other sites lol. Im wanting to upload Advanced Warfare models. oh and one issue I have is. do you need the normal maps? ive been unable to rip normal maps so far

If possible, normal maps would DEFINITELY be appreciated, but they aren't necessary. As long as you have at least the main diffuse textures. Some platforms don't even use normal maps (such as DS), so they aren't GENERALLY necessary, but appreciated if possible.

Before I say anything, I'd like to thank you for wanting to uploading your models. Thanks for helping to make the Models Resource a more complete place! To answer your first question, usually if no models are uploaded, there are a few reasons:

- In the case of the My Talking Tom models, a cease and desist order was placed and users can no longer upload content from the game
- Nobody's cracked the files
- Nobody's taken interest

Which I assume the 3rd reason is the reason for the Call of Duty models.

You don't need the normal maps; HOWEVER it is appreciated if you do get them and update your submission with it. What problems are you having getting the normal maps? If you post about it, maybe some of us can help you to get them and make your submission more complete.

The Problem WAS the image showed up as corrupted when trying to view it... BUT after hours of messing around I found the problem and converted the image file to a different format and it appears and works

I'll start uploading models here ASAP. thanks for the replies guys!
