How to view a model correctly in Blender?
#1
So I use Blender v2.78 to view models downloaded from the model's resource. However, I cannot figure out how to properly view the model so that it looks like it should when rendered. I usually just open the .dae file and then import it to view the model, but the textures are missing. Most of the time I cannot even get the textures onto the model (the program won't let me link/append the textures).

Is there a specific way to open these models?

Here's what the model looks like when I render it:

As you can see, the textures are missing.
I like downloading models and messing around with them on Blender. that's pretty much all I do here hehehe

I haven't watched it, but it seems like just what you need!

I knew how to apply textures to models, but I hadn't considered that I would have to apply the texture when I downloaded the model. I thought the textures would already be on there.

Anyways, I applied the textures to the model and it looks good now! Wink
