my drawing technique has improved significantly, so i wanted to try pixel art again.


this is still a work-in-progress. i'm also getting better with finding light source so shading isn't much of a bother anymore. c:

Is that a lizard like tail or a fluffy like tail?

If lizard-like I'd say make it more like thick at the base and thins on the way to the tip.

she is a dragon (lindworm, so flightless), so i try to keep her tail pretty thick. but this definitely looks much better! i knew something was off. lol

i am having trouble with the placement of hands, it looks very shapeless at the moment but i take it's because it's still a rough wip

if possible, study how skirts drape over the body to make wrinkles, it can improve the overall look of the piece.

I think her scarf needs to be a different color than her hands. They blend together too much at the moment. I'd say it's a great start, looking forward to the finished sprite

one hand is touching her chin while the other is in her arm (which you can't really see).

also the skirt part of her outfit looks stiff, but she's supposed to be wearing a coat kinda like this: http://www.atomiccherry.com.au/media/cat...coat_2.jpg but i see what you're saying. i'll try to add some flares and whatnot.
