Having a problem logging on the site.

I can log on to the VG resource just fine and the sounds resource, but for some reason the when I go to the spriters resource or the models, it always says "Hello guest!" And when I try to hit the login button it just reloads the page the same as it was, I'm effectively not able to login to those sites.

I even cleaned out my cookies and I have the same issue.

Do you have an ad blocker enabled that you didn't when you originally logged in?

I know you said you've cleared your cookies but if you didn't get everything from the resource sites, there might still be something lingering. If possible, clear your entire cache and cookies and try again.

I disable my ad blocker for everything on this site because I want to support the site. also I did clear all my cookies.

I used ccleaner and made sure none of the sites cookies were saved.

Cache is what may be affecting you at this point though. You can try logging in via an incognito window to confirm though.

Still won't work, I'm using chrome if that even makes a difference, I have tried other browsers as well.

I just tried it in both Chrome and Safari and it is working fine. It doesn't always show you as logged in on the main sites right away but clicking login and letting it reload the home page should finish the login process.

Okay, so logging out and trying to log in from the spriters resource side just results in me logging back into the 
vg resource and the same problem.

I think I'm cursed.

This sounds like the same problem we had back when I switched the cookie settings on the forum a very long time ago where you are using old cookies that you can't remove by logging out. Have you been removing just vg-resource.com-related cookies or everything?

Everything. Believe it or not I have been having this problem on and off for a couple of years, on different browsers and computers.

That is very odd. I tried to reproduce the bug myself but couldn't do so. For reference, I was able to successfully log in via Safari and Chrome for Mac and IE and Chrome for Windows with no problem.

The only other thing I can suggest is to try it after completely removing the ad-blocker. I've seen it mess up pages even when the site you're on is whitelisted. I'm not suggesting this as a permanent solution but it's worth seeing if that's the case at least.

I just realized a potential issue with the login page - I never updated it to account for the secure connections being enforced on the rest of the site. Can you try it again and let me know? I'm not confident that this was causing your issue but it's possible.
