Any Final Fantasy game that came out after 9. It just seemed that they wanted the player to control the most annoying character available, as if to punish you for playing.

Well, except for FF13, and only because EVERY party member I encountered - I quit after that dumb-ass Shiva-cycle bit - had their own special brand of unbearable annoyance.

anyway, i recently tried Alisia Dragoon for genesis/md. WHAT THE HECK. the only attack i have is shooting spurts of lightning that have absolutely no physics. just appears in random spots of the screen and you can only HOPE to hit enemies without losing health. couldn't i use a beam or sword or something to control it more easily? or if she just shot lightning projectiles a la megaman or pikachu in smash that'd be fine. and i already tried, the animal helpers don't do anything.

tbh everything about the game is really great and well put together. i just can't get passed the first screen for goodness sake. it could have been really enjoyable.
