Update*

So recently I've came to the discovery that none of my sprites for nicolas look anything like the concept art of him so.... yeah I'm going to be respriting pretty much his whole sprite sheet now. Here's a comparison from new to old.

Even with this long cycle of no updates to show on tsr I'm making a lot of progress on the engine and music right now. Pretty much a major factor in my getting the first chapter game demo out is the shitton of spriting I have to do for the characters, enemies, village, backgrounds, etc. I hope to try to have more updates to show you all from now on though. I'm probably going to end up setting up a dev blog as well to get the word out more about my project.

Ah man, I liked the scarf covering his face, it was pretty cool. Either way, this is cool too. Glad to see some updates.

Yeah, there will still be instances in the game though, when his face is covered by the scarf. Mainly when he is going into a dangerous setting.

You should probably take out some of the lines, especially on the torso. It looks really busy. Unique design though.

Only if it's something I reaaaaaaaaally like. I already have a topic in the requests forum looking for a collaborator so I'll probably end up only using sprites that me and whoever I collaborate with make. That is... if I can find a collaborator... ;A;

As for your sprite, it's hard to make out any details, it's not really in the style, and it's really not all that creative... so... no.

oh, well. btw is that antagonist wearing two scarfs?

nope only one, although the scarves in the game can take on many different shapes on their own, so some may look like they have more than two ends on them. There's only one character in the game with "two" scarves, but I don't want to give away too much info on that character.
