Majikiki magics in!

Hi there

I'm Majikiki. The name is basically a fusion of the Japanese word Majikku (which I used as nickname in several forums) and my real life nickname Kiki. It's also the name I use for cosplaying. Yes, I'm a cosplayer, although not for long to this point. But I used to make theatre costumes before doing cosplay (which I wanted to do for so long but I simply didn't have the time to) and I'm still making them.

I came to the VG Resource because I was searching for a 3D model from Samus Aran's Fusion Suit - that's a dream cosplay to me and some day I definetly want to do that. I'm a huge Metroid fan and Metroid Fusion ist one of my favorites. I still have much to learn regarding 3D models. However, I signed up because... Well. First I need some help I guess as I've never done 3D modeling or ripping before. And second... There are some great artists here and you should know that I'm also a little spriting fan. I haven't done this for a long time (guess I'm still a beginner), but I really like it and I definetly want to get better doing it, as well as see other people's work. And third... I think that you should support such a wonderful project (which is especially wonderful for cosplayers like me who discovered that 3D models are sometimes the best reference you can get).
If you want to see some of my sprites, I added two to this post. They're actually from Pokémon Diamond and Pearl. I just changed them a little

Yes, I do. I just hope Samus returns turns out good and that they don't repeat the mistakes made with Other M (it wasn't as bad as people call it in my opinion, but it is true that it made some mistakes). And I'm really exited for Prime 4!

Yeah, I'd be more excited for Samus Returns if they didn't lock so much stuff away with the amiibo, :/ And Prime 4 depends on who's developing it.

Welcome! It's really interesting to get an insight into all the different uses people find for resources, cosplaying had never really crossed my mind.

Yes, I have been experimenting with Pepakura lately, that's a technique where you print out unfolded 3D-models on paper and glue them together again. I don't own a 3D printer and I have mixed feelings about using 3D print for cosplay. It's okay, but I don't want to use it, so... Yeah. But it's nice to get a 360° view on a character anyways (regarding 3D models).

I think some things locked behind the amiibo are okay, especially since I already own two of them I got for my birthday. You can argue about the galleries though.
