Thanks, it should help rip this game a lot faster, thanks to in-game screenshots referencing the palletes. But then, where do I download it..

I suppose this should come in handy; I unpacked, decompressed, and unpacked again as much as I can of the files.
Most of the 2D graphics are inside .DS3-files, which are archives of unnamed files. Unfortunately, I can't seem to figure out the format of those packs, so I cannot unpack them. Therefore if a file inside in compressed, you'll have to somehow manually extract the files and/or use a program like this to decompress them. (or just skip them for now)
Also, the .cdat-files are compressed using some sort of modified LZ77 compression which I don't know. If someone manages to decompress them (or even has an example decompressed and compressed file-pair), I'd greatly appreciate it. =)

I know a few people who knows about LZ77 compression.

I think the E00-E06 of they characters. The seem to be compressed.

If you can get E001-E006 decompressed some more, we'd have the main characters. My gut tells me so.=P Beside that the other files have the enemies.

Thanks for the tutorials and GGD, however, I can't seem to find the program DSLazy for downloadability. (I must have forgotten it)

Romhacking.net should have it. Or, you can download the unpacked TOh files in the posts above.

Seeing as I already downloaded from the unpacks above.. Nvmd. *looks for files using GGD*

EDIT: okay, I'm lost. Can't seem to find the characters, but I do find the pallete.

No, can't find sprites anywhere, it's just static. Pallete was found, though.

In the "char" folder, ignore E001=E006. Those are the main characters, but they don't work for some reason, You just see pals. I think the main characters are compressed even more.
I used these settings for the other sprites.

Unless I can get someone to unpack these files,

You won't need to use DSLazy since Barubary already unpacked them.

Well, if I need to go back to ripping the main characters, then DSLazy's a must.

Won't do much good. The main characters seems more compressed than the sub characters and enemies are.
