Akiba's Trip Undead & Undressed
#1
Hi, well, I'm new here.
I've just got the game for pc, and since there's no longer support in Xentax on this game (ps3 version), I just ripped the models with ninja ripper.
But I'm having some trouble, the UV mapping looks incorrect. I can provide you with any model you might need from the game, or any texture, but I just need the map models :C

It's hard to tell without a screenshot of the UVs against the texture/s, but I would suggest flipping the UVs vertically to start.

P.S. Google Drive images cannot be directly linked as images.

Ok, I've just edited the post, I tried with flipping the UV and some values in the UV too.

Always avoid using Ninja ripper

I tried that method, but it's impossible to import map models with the research done in Xentax, the noesis script only imports a few small models.

ninja ripper always deform in some way the model, so my advice is to study the format, using the avaiable bits or to wait someone alse resersing it

Here's a sample, with both, mesh and texture file from ps3 game: http://www.mediafire.com/file/9yi7xhho1k...Sample.rar
The rar includes a .pepd file (mesh) and a .png extracted from .phyre file (texture) using Noesis script for Final Fantasy X

I have some updates I got with this game.
I want to say exactly what is needed for extracting the models of this game.
-First of all, you will need the game with BLJM61105 ID, for PS3 ONLY.
-Once downloaded, locate the "Volume.dat" file, you can unpack it with the tool attached to this post or the bms script made.
-Get Noesis Version 412, (released in 2014).
-Download the Python script from Xentax thread, you will have to open it with notepad and replace the textures path specified in 2 different locations, which is where the "phyre_texture" is in your computer.

Now drag the volume file to the .exe attached here, it will unpack everything contained. Locate the .pepd files, they are separated in different folders, "objects" folder, "accessories" folder, "maps", etc.
Open Noesis and find any model you might need.

I've had some issues with the script, when trying to import a map .pepd file, the log says:
