Klonoa 2 Textures?

So i just recently was able to rip Leorina's model from Klonoa 2 and get her Uv's intact and the whole shibang, only thing is i can't find a full set of her textures, i can't get them at once in tex mod because they all come out with messed up alpha channels and are all seperated into pieces which takes even longer to put together, i can't figure out how to use tiledgdd for the life of me either. Does anyone know how i can get her texture out of the files using tiledgdd or any sort of texture viewer? Or a place i can possibly find the entire texture? I managed to pull them out using Tex mod but they all have to have their alpha channels fixed and transparency fixed, but they're still separate parts.

Wait you actually got a complete model from there? I should be able to help you with them considering Ninjaripper does still dump the textures at least with the older versions of PCSX2, In fact texture dumping is arguably the best thing the Ninjaripper can do considering the models come out all distorted.

the uv's are about 95% intact, i was able to pull klonoa as well but his uv's are a bit spazzy and dont want to work properly. But what version of pcsx2 would you reccomend me to use? i currently have 0.9.8 and 1.4.0.

I think what I used for ripping models (using the old obj exporting method) was 9.8.

Hopefully I can help you out, I’ve always dreamed of getting the models properly for some time, I even asked the guy from PS23DFormat to look at them again, which he is but is still very busy. Kinda lucky, Especially considering the site almost died.

I’m hoping you can get a hold of Klonoa (and possibly Lolo) properly at least at some point.

I've gotten klonoa pulled out but his uv's are intact but also quite wonky, im going to work on lolo too, i was going to get teh king of sorrow too but i have to way to get to where he appears without playing the entire game. ive actually been trying to rip from klonoa beach volleyball too and it seems the character models are as difficult for that one as this one is, but in beach volley ball i got the stage models intact...i might also try to mess with the values of the garbled 3ds files too. i can shoot you the file i have leorina on if you want. klonoa i think ive got the hang of the issue is finding a good position to get the screenshot at, thought the screenshot method doesnt seem to render his zipper thing or ring properly and they come out like flat, the zipper comes out a single flat triangle and the ring comes out shaped right but more blocky. i might use ninja ripper for klonoa instead tbh.

Sure, I can look at Leorina a bit this week. Hopefully I’ll get a good textured MTL file for her, Helps I know somebody who ripped a majority of K2’s textures and uploaded them to the resource already.

yeah i have the ones from the resource, hers was the only one not there, the klonoa one on the site lacks the textures for his gloves and ring textures iirc, unless those were seperate texture files. and i can get leo's blend file up and sent to you now, not sure if i scaled her good enough, and actually i managed to finally get klonoa's uv's fixed but his zipper and stuff are still not the proper meshes. so i guess i can send him over too once i finish a quick edit or 2 on him in 3ds max. xD

Alright here ya go, https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ws-dkWk...sp=sharing klonoa might need to be rescaled a bit, i couldn't get the scale right on him plus idk what to do about the zipper, also they came with .mtl files but they're not textured, the leorina one might have to get unwrapped in blender, what i did was if she isint one mesh i joined those meshes together then moved her to the origin and then applied scale iirc and then unwrapped her, klonoa is already unwrapped. im going to get to work on lolo and maybe even popka. ------>      i actually got them pretty fast out of the obj, klonoa was there too but i got rid of him since we have him plus he was turned in a wierd position so it wouldn't do much good but holy shit i got baguji too somehow... >_< im gonna get ready to get the uvw unwrapper modified onto lolo which is what makes it a bit easier to get their uv's down to the proper scaling. (just realized lolo lacks the priestess feather in the one i used, ill probably pull the feather out as a seperate object then apply it to her possibly xD or just re-rip her model)

Alright then, I'm having a hard time getting Leorina's model into view in Blender ((I can view her just fine in 3DSMax though ironically)) but Klonoa loads just fine. Asking my friends whom I just mentioned to see if they can help at all, regaurdless I'll start dumping/ripping textures for Leorina.

so i was digging around in the .bin file using a console tool and i started to reverse the hex data for the ices headers, and a few of them imediatlly became recognizable file types, i dont know if im actually reverse enginering it this way or not but i saw ones like Dae&vag from the looks of it, i still need to go through the others. http://prntscr.com/jiubqq

I got the textures dumped, Just fixing their weird opacity problem before I can hopefully get to texturing her. Thank goodness for GIMP and Ninjaripper. I’m more worried about compiling a MTL with 3DSMax lmao.

EDIT: Alright, Here's (hopefully) all textures related to Leorina, All the reset NinjaRipper dumped seemed to be related to the armored beast or Tat. They are all seperate textures sadly, Considering what you said above - You may have to look for help with how the actual format is.

Something else I want to mention, assuming you also have 3DSMax, Considering all your model pieces are individual parts, With 3DSMax you can select them one by one and apply said texture to them, Just as long as the UV's are intact they should work just fine. I just know this considering I also had a ripped model (from a completely different game) where I had to apply the textures in 3DSMax because Blender kept reading it as an entirely single mesh yet the select tool was able to select each piece separately.

Yeah i use 3ds max, thankfully i got that using a student license, its useful minus the fact that it loves to crash sometimes but i'll get right to work on leorina Big Grin, also i got lolo and am actually able to start applying uv's to her in blender, though her face ones aren't wanting to agree with me. xD i honestly don't know what we're gonna do for the king of sorrow tbh, i can always try to get a converted save that has the game finsihed if it comes down to that. Also i just realized t-posing these guys is gonna be a bitch xD

Worry about T-Posing is the least of our worries considering you have them in such a basic pose. Not to mention a majority of models uploaded here aren’t rigged to begin with.
