Well, the tag for the series should be different from the tag for the actual games. For example, we have DK and Diddy art for the tag to the series, but each game has a gameplay screenshot.

I think the "Mario" section should be official art while the actual games should be screenshots.

Its for the "Mario platform games." Its not an actual game but is a sub category, I didn't know whether they were being treated like games or like the "Mario section".

Hmm, I don't want the two tags to look TOO much alike though...
We could use game backgrounds i.e. the background, but have characters in silhouette, so we could have Mario triple jumping but he would be completely black against a background that is light.
Or maybe a split screen of two games such as part Mario Bros and part Mario World. I think we just need something different to define it from the game tags.

Agreed, but I'm not sure what.

We could use different screens from the games and have I don't a rotating image thing every-time you refresh or something. I am not sure if you could implement.

Rotating images would be possible, but, would be useless in honesty.

Rotating images are really easy to set up but are incredibly stupid and pointless, as far as web design goes. They make the user less familiar with the site and thus render the site less user-friendly.

I don't see the point of rotating for the tags.

Hmm...Golden Sun's looks like gameplay :c
I'll take a crack at it.

I also vote against image rotation. One steady image would be enough, having another image each time you load the page would be confusing for certain people.
However, what we do need is recognisable icons, ones where we would only need to look at the image itself to know what section we're talking about.
