Hey guys. Does anyone know why Pichu's eyes don't render correctly? Everything else is fine but the eye area is blacked out.
The same happens with Pikachu and I can't figure it out even after watching turtle's video. Furthermore, does anyone know how to apply the curry face effect? Thanked by: Austin Zimmermann

You have to change the blend mode to alpha blend. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5fNrhdpCqm4 Thanked by: Austin Zimmermann

Okay so I don't think this is an alpha problem, I think it's actually a model problem. This is what it looks like after I applied my SSS materials (without the eyebrow texture, that actually also gives a strange effect tho). I'm not sure if I messed up somewhere or if it's a blender problem, but I do know that removing doubles didn't work (it did work for the other parts of the face however) and it's not a shading issue.

Question, how do you get the skin to look that way? I've tried it myself and the best I've managed is this. https://imgur.com/a/GjeGwrN Thanked by: Austin Zimmermann
