Hello there.

Hola.

I call myself Misselaineous10. You can just call me Miss, because that name is quite a mouthful to say and spell. Plus, my online friends call me that.

Furnessly told me a bit about this place. Oh, uh...some of you know him better as Yawackhary. After a bit of lurking for a few days, I decided to join. It reminds me so much of the other forum I frequent...

Like a somewhat tone-downed version of it...

I see an incident happened just a few days ago. Alts and spam, e-drama...
I know too well how that is. The forum I mentioned experiences that a lot...
And I hate cleaning it up.

Well, I don't really do anything sprite-related, but I do draw.

So...that's my intro post.

I'm a girl.

And well, yes, I'm not annoying, foolish, or anything like that. In fact, I have to deal with those kinds of people on a daily basis, being an admin at the other forum I go to.

The community there is pretty crazy.

You okay Furnessly? Heehee.

Ah yes, read the rules and all. Actually, that's the first thing I did when I first lurked around here. I like to abide by regulations.

This is a relatively quiet forum...
You even have a spam section. I remember we had to get rid of our own because people would make threads there nonstop and e-drama began to be frequent.

Also, the highest post count someone has is only about 1,000? Wow.
There's a few members on my forum that have more than 10,000 posts...

It was May 21, 2008. I know this because that's when all of the PTer's here currently joined.

Welcome and such.

Our forum had a splitting(?) as well and we just re-opened on April 1, 2008, and already some members have post counts in the five digit area after four or five months. But enough comparing.

As I said before, I read the rules already, but I want to make sure on two things.

I would just like to ask if it's all right for a brand new member to make an art thread? To showcase my stuff and all. Is there a waiting period or something?

Also, I'd like to bump the "PETS" thread tigerlily started because I would like to post my pets (duh). It's quite old and I don't want to get in trouble for necrobumping. And I don't want to make a thread for pets in general because that would be redundant since it exists already. =/

Uh, I'll just wait for some answers then.

There shouldn't be a waiting period for making art/sprite topics. After all mostly everyone comes here to showcase their art in the first place.

I also would like to think it'd be okay to bump a topic as long as the post isn't like, a short post like "Nice pets" or something, or a 8 month bump or something. Don't quote me on that though, since I'm not 100% sure.

Thanks for the answers. I'll keep them in mind.

how did a guest post here what the hell

Kidding, I know things on the forum had to be reverted back a month, structure-wise. Only posts were not affected. That why my "ghost" posts are still there.

And sorry for the double post.
