I think a Toon Zelda would have been cool. Zelda could have the same moves as regular Zelda, but instead of transforming into Shiek, she transforms into Tetra, who could have a whole new moveset.

I'm gonna agree with you on this one even though we definately don't need another toon character, unless it contains something really different from the original character (like maybe a Zelda/Tetra character)

To be fair, Ganondorf himself is semi cloned Captain Falcon. Toon Ganon is pretty much extremely different from the current Ganondorf.

Also sdgasasgfgasgsa This is becoming the Roy fan topic god damn it even my geeky Fire Emblem reasonings and examples aren't helping much.

Why not a Toon Ganon? ( I think it's a bad idea but it's sarcasm)
We already have 3 the same characters with tiny adjustments from Starfox.

Art Kurvius dosen't see the point that a Goomba isn't even as major then Bowser.

Plus Geno was pretty much considered by Sakurai himself, Besides he's a better choice then a geniric goomba, just because he was in one cannon game doesn't mean he can't get in by popularity.

(On that note: Goomba shud be in cuz I love him - Art Kurvius, the goomba lover who possibly is a gommba.)

It's only natural for people to desire the right choices in the Smash Bros. series. So far only, Smash 64 got close enough, Brawl got pretty close too... But Melee was terrible in roster choice.

You see it's all about the levels each character rests on, let me explain:

A lot of people here want Bowser Jr. in the series but it would create an imbalance and people would say "Well if Mario has Luigi, and Bowser has his Bowser Jr. why can't Peach have Daisy?" And before you know it, people are gonna want Daisy in it as well.

So its not about the character itself as much as if the character creates an upset and a need to compensate for that one.

Characters like Diddy Kong don't do that because he is next to DK himself. But characters like Wolf will do that because he is not next to Fox himself, thus creating the desire for more Fox characters. There's gonna need to be another Fox character in order to balance things with Wolf.

It's about levels and what characters rest of those levels. Let's look at Mario again.

Smash Bros. 64 had a perfect number of Mario characters, no one wanted more back then... Why?

Well Mario is number 1, he is the highest he can be with the Mario series and no one else is at his level. Luigi is next, he's number 2, no one else is second to Mario. But who is third? Well perhaps Peach? No Bowser? The fact is, Bowser and Peach are both in third. One is not greater than the other. Therefor if you were to just include Bowser, that wouldn't be fair to Peach, or the other way around too. That's why its perfect to have either Mario and Luigi or Mario, Luigi, Peach and Bowser. Any more would create an upset. The same can be said with Fox characters.

Many Fox characters rest with Wolf. Thus there is a desire to have Krystal there aswell.

Because don't they seem like they are on the same level? Fox's biggest rival, and Fox's love interest?
