will there ever be a pikmin 3?

pikmin was one of my favorite games, it took me a long time to complete pikmin 2 by getting all 200 and somethin treasures, but I eventually defeated it, but will nintendo ever decide on making a third for the Wii or DS? pikmin still seems active due to that olimar was in SSBB

I believe Miyamoto said he was working on it, or at least he wanted to do it. Wouldn't be surprised to see something at e3 this year.
