Can't log in to wiki

I tried logging in to the wiki with my VG_Resource account info like the site said, but says the account can't be found when I input my right info, and clicking create account gives an invalid link. Both my current info, and previous info and usernames won't work.

I just tested with two different accounts and didn't have a problem so I'm not 100% sure what's going on here. You're using your username, right? Not your email? As for the create account error, I don't even see the link and neither should you as accounts are only managed through the forum. Did you manually type the address to get there or are you seeing a link for it?

I'm using my current username for the username field, and accessed the login page from going to that wiki link on the top of all VG Resource pages, the one to the left of Sprites, and right of the site logo.

   
This is an image of the error I get if this helps. I tried this before, and after changing my password on the VG Resource, still the same. Do you think that forgot password link will help, even if it's through the wiki itself?

It should be the same as your forum password and if you recently changed that, I can't think of why it wouldn't work. You can try the forgot password link but I'm not sure if it will work at all since accounts are maintained here. I wish I had some way to see the specifics about what's going on to cause that error but there's no specific logged error that I can find.

Edit: I also just tried renaming a test user and logging in both before and after the rename and it seems to work just fine (though the wiki sees the renamed user as a new account instead of being a renamed version of the old one so it's not perfect but it does work).

I just remembered, I did try that link, and it was when it suggested making a new account, but through the wiki, which gives an invalid function of the wiki. BTW I tried the two different usernames I've had on VG Resource, nothing.

Not being able to create an account makes sense as the function is disabled on the wiki side. Not being able to log in does not make sense though. I don't see an account for you on the wiki side at all but I just confirmed that accounts from new usernames work so that's not it. I also checked your account settings and don't see anything that should prevent you from logging in. When did you last change your password for your forum account?

Oh, so very recently. Can you try a private/incognito window, logging into the forum first and then the wiki? I can't figure out what might be stopping you here.

Not even in a private window did it work. I first logged into the forums which worked first time, but then the wiki did'int.

So, this thread is around a year old but I'm assuming you tried again today? I just checked with both my account and a test account with no admin abilities and was able to log into both just fine.
