How can I rip a mesh already posed? (not T or A-posed)
#1
Hello everyone!

I'm new to ripping, and for the past few days I've been doing some experimenting with ripping and rigging models. However, my main purpose for these models is to do some private 3d-printing with them. Ideally I'd like to place them in the pose that I originally ripped them with, but that proves to be the crux of the problem; all the software I've used so far returns them in a t-pose, and are complex enough to make posing them quite a challenge.

My question: Is there any way to rip a model in the pose they are holding on screen? I'd love to hear from anyone who can give me pointers on this, or otherwise how to rig sufficiently complex models to... Do exactly what they were doing on screen when I ripped them

Thank you in advance!
