My sprites.

This Sonic sprite isn't one of my best works, it's jsut a fast sprite I did one night, when I couldn't sleep. Pillow shaded.


This is a Ending sprite for Super Sonic, from a Sonic 2 hack I was working on.


This is from the same Sonic 2 hack.


Same place again.


This is more of an edit, scaled down the Sonic 2 Tails sprite, and redrew it with a SMS pallete, for someones S2 SMS hack.



Scaled down a artwork of Sonic, and made a sprite of it, also for that Sonic 2 hack.


And last, my Hoodwinx for a platformer I'm working on, and his various edits. I'll edit him more I think, because I think he can be fixed some more.





Could use some critique, as I would like to become a better spriter.

I remember seeing those Tails sprites on Sonic Retro, you got some pretty nice stuff here. Finish that Super Sonic.

The first Sonic is good, just needs a bit more contrast, just like the two next ones. The Super Sonic's right eye (our left) is not centred correctly, I suggest you move it more to the left. I'm sure that loads of colours could be got rid of off that computer. I think the Tails edit needs a bit more work on form and shading, and maybe you should make the eyes a bit wider. The Hoodwinx is not very readable (it took me some time to realise he had a tail, not a shell or a hunchback), and I believe he could do with a grey shade (or dark bule or dark brown) to smoothen the black.
That's all I guess.
Keep posting work, I'll check it out!

Does this look any better? I redrew the tail, and moved it a little bit away from the body, and added a dark blue shade to go with the black.



When he's animated, his tail will move around some.

Sonic Triple Trouble revamp.

I suggest you use a bit more black on the inside of the shoes, and shave a few pixels off the right of the top of Sonic's head.

An actual Triple Trouble remake, the last one was Sonic Chaos, not sure why I said Triple Trouble.




It's not a perfect replica, and it isn't meant to be. I'm going to remake all the Triple Trouble sprites in a more Genesis style, and maybe make a Sonic 2 game hack with them.
