I'm sorry, but the shading's pretty bad.
It looks a little pillowed and even jagged in some areas. Especially when it transitions from white to blue.

Side note, I got distracted again. Happens to me a lot, actually:
The hard part was getting it to look good without going over the color limits. Technically it is still over the color limits if you count the wings but I figured those could count as a separate sprite.
Is that the fairy from kirby 64? If so, wasn't the hair pink?

But yeah, as soon as I finish the outline I'll finish the shading up.

It's more like a really bright orange. But all the colors in K64 were ridiculously bright.

The only problem I see (this applies to Dragoon's Ice Dragon as well) is that it lacks AA in the inside of its outlines. You should be able to add it using the colors you already have, thankfully.

The only thing hard about 02 is trying to sprite him in a way that mimics his boss fight.
...Which is impossible in a 2D game.

Not unless you make it simhilair to the Marx fight...
Basically you had to bust his halo, bash the head, than destroy the tail. It's not impossible to recreate it in a KSSU style...
What I'm wondering is why it would'nt work in platformer style? Just make him not to be in the background...

ANYWAYS about the sprite you have very little shading but don't overdue it in your next one. The legs are only one pixel? maybe make them thicker. Shoes blend in together.
Maybe make her eyes smaller so you can fit a mouth. Personally I find the brush a bit big maybe take some of the upper handle off. Her arms don't attach to the shoulder. Last but not least change back round color because I can tell you put black outlines in some places.
And that's all I can find!

I don't think I can do lazer. I'm not experienced enough and I having some real-life trouble that are effecting my abilities to sit down and concentrate on something (except TV, for whatever reason ) so I'm gonna have to either give up now, or put it on hold.
