Can I use Arial in my sheets?
#1
I just realised I accidentaly used arial in a sheet I just uploaded today. However I remember reading somewhere that arial has copyright, right? So, please tell me if I can or not, so I can edit my sheet immediately before it gets a copyright strike.
Edit: Nevermind, submitted a revision.
Edit2: I had to resubmit the revision. This time I promise this is the last revision.
Edit3: Done changing the font. I'm still not sure if using Arial is allowed but I don't want to risk.

For reference, it would have been fine to leave the Arial font in. Technically, it’s owned and copyrighted but copyright on fonts is a little weird. If you own any Microsoft product, like Office or even Windows, the license granted by owning that product also grants you the use of the Arial font in commercial works, if I’m understanding this correctly.

But more importantly, your work is not commercial in nature here regardless so you should be good either way.

Thanks for the info. I thought I was gonna get in legal troubles if I not remove it, this is why I removed it so fast. But anyway, thanks for the info, next time I will use the font then, since it's not a problem, as far as I understood your comment.
