Flash Sprites border issue
#1
I'm trying to rip sprites from Epic Battle Fantasy 5.

Vector-based graphics have this issue where there's this tiny gap between shapes. (If you check the wiki you can see that all the icons have this issue)

What I tried:
- Just using JPEXS FFDEC to convert the 10k+ sprites into pngs
  - Every single sprite has gaps between shapes
- Converting the sprites to svg and then png
 - No, still gaps
- Converting the sprites to svg, increasing the dpi, converting to png, and then resizing back down
 - It certainly looks better I guess but I'm concerned that this isn't accurate

Can you show a screenshot where we can see the issue?

I see, your edited resized variant looks better than the raw original.

But if people use the original, will it look like your edited variant?

Anyway, I would submit both versions in separate ZIP files, like:
Enemies (Original Vector Files)
Enemies (Resized Vector Edits)
etc.

That would be a lot of files though. Is that okay?

Anyway, the original in-game versions running in Flash look like the resized version. The directly converted versions look wrong.

Converted? I really don't know much about vector graphics, is there no definitive raw version?

If these graphics have endless possibilities and the converter or extractor just sucks, I would just go with what you think is more accurate according to ingame appearance.

The raw versions are swf files. When displayed with Flash, there is no border gap. However, I can't just upload swf files to Spriters Resource.
