Hey everyone,
I've been trying to extract level models from Shantae Half-Genie Hero recently since no one else seems to have done it online, but I can't find an extractor for the filetypes they're stored in that works properly.
I've been using paktools to unpack .pak files and then wfLZEx from this thread which extracts textures properly from the results, but almost always gets errors when trying to extract the models. I've been using the 1.0 release from the github, since the 1.1 doesn't work on my computer and gives an error when launching.
Again, I have extracted from the .pak files from the game, but then I have to extract from more encrypted files before being able to see anything. Does anyone know of a solution? I'm not sure how tough it is to extract from more recent Wayforward games.
