Ok, so thanks for reading this in the first instance ![Smile Smile](https://www.vg-resource.com/images/custom_smilies/smile.png)
I can easily rip tiles and sprites from Gens KMod BUT ... what I cant figure out is where the tile maps are read from.
Most people know the tiles are stored as a graphical array in data. However, there is usually an accompanying "array" of bytes/words that tell the system how to lay out the tiles and what rotation/palette or just simply, where the tile is placed.
Basically I don't have enough knowledge of the Genesis/Megadrive system to be able to do/find this...
Long story short, Im ripping two layers from Raiden Trad (As it is know on the MD) that map up entire levels...
Ive included some idea of how far I've got. Also, simply ripping (Pause/Frameskip) doesnt work because the layers use transparency AND black... lol the Fools!![Tongue Tongue](https://www.vg-resource.com/images/custom_smilies/tongue.png)
It IS for a purpose,
That purpose is a remake on a different system... which is another topic of discussion entirely..
Thanks in advance
