Need help properly converting tid to png
#1
Hello and good day!
Recently, I've been ripping Virche Evermore game files and have shown progress in converting cl3 files to tid to dds to png.
The character sprites show no problem so far, however, certain tid files of the game system have been giving me weird, color-jumbled images. You can actually see the outline of what's supposed to be inside, but I don't know what to do to fix the weird colors.
I've been using the TID script for Neptunia and the other CL3 script. The sample tid files and the weird pngs are in the Google Drive link below for anyone interested. Am really desperate to get the proper png files!

Hoping for help sometime soon, thank you!

Ah, that's because those textures use BC7 compression, something I hadn't accounted for in my original script. Go ahead and redownload that -- with the update I just applied it should be working as intended now!

I use a program called Noesis to handle TID files but mine are mostly from visual novels. Just wanted to post another option for you and anyone else who comes across this thread!

@Riesz @Random Talking Bush Either one mind updating their scripts?
Because I've been trying to extract files from the PC port of "Sorcery Saga: Curse of the Great Curry God", the .cl3 extracting script did work but the .tid one not so much...
I tried then to rip from the original PS Vita version of the game (which is lower-res) and it did work, but on Noesis the colors are all messed up too...  Ouch! (and in some cases purely garbled up)
