How do I color special weapon models from Splatoon 3

Hey all, I am trying to color these parts (marked in orange) from a model from Splatoon 3

These parts are seperate from the model, but use the same texture as the gun, I am trying to turn these from black to purple, Does this mean I have to edit the texture to change the color? I am making this for a thumbnail of a model im gonna upload, I am trying to achieve something like this:

Usually, there is a texture with ".tcl" at the end, and you can plug that into the Factor of a Mix Color node, and you can select the color
