Help with Snowdrop Engine .ANIM (Animation) Files from Mario + Rabbids

I'm working on some files from Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, and I'm running into trouble with the game's .ANIM files (animations). I've already extracted the game's contents from the .SDFTOC file, so I can access models and animations. The issue is that I can't seem to figure out how to properly read or convert these .ANIM files into something usable, like FBX.

What I’ve tried so far:
  • Noesis recognises the `ANIM files but throws an error: “File could not be previewed” and fails to export them.
  • QuickBMS has helped with extraction, but I can't find any scripts that handle the animation files properly.
  • I’ve looked for plugins or scripts specific to the Snowdrop Engine but haven’t had much luck.

File Structure: The .ANIM files contain several sections that define the animations for different bones:
  • DTRA: Translation data (position).
  • DSCA: Scale data.
  • DROT: Rotation data (quaternion, I believe).
  • A list of the bones used by the animation is usually found at the bottom of the file.

Has anyone here successfully worked with Snowdrop Engine animations before? Are there any tools, scripts, or workflows that can help me convert these .ANIM files into something like FBX for use in Blender or other 3D software? Thanks in advance for any advice or guidance!
