I'll try to get to work on a sample sprite later tonight since I'm busy with Skullgirls right now.
I might experiment with multiple styles as well to see which one you prefer.

Tyvonnosaurus is on board, but I still need at least another sprite artist or two. Especially for monsters. Smaller monsters are great practice for beginners, so people of all skill are welcome to apply!

I have none. All my mobs are currently placeholders.. (I.e. rips from ff games, etc) If you think you can handle some simple mobs, lemme know. The only requirement I have is that they are semi-serious in tone.. None of the cutesy slime stuff like Maple story. If you make me a slime, make sure the player is going to fear it's gel-filled doomness.. Ehe..

Just make sure you send me a sample up front.. n.n Some basic ideas for simple mobs are slimes (With recolors), boars/wolves/big cats/bats/other animals like that, skeletons, floating skulls.. The list goes on. If you come up with something that looks nice and has a serious undertone, there's a good chance I can use it. And even if I don't use it in the game, I can post it as a sample so that I don't have to tell the next person that asks for a sample that I don't have any to work with yet.. >.<

That would be preferable. Paypal/Western Union/Any other simple online means. The only way I'll cut someone a check is if they rack up a fair sum first. I'm not writing a check for $2.17 for example..

Yeah. Like I pointed out. Those are not really what I'm looking for, only posted for reference. Heh. I specifically said I'm looking for not-so-cutesie models. As well as decent human/humanesque race models.. I guess I'll have to make it more noticable.

There are very few anthro models out there to begin with for reference, much less anywhere near the style needed. I just posted what I could find so people would have an idea of how the critters looked. Albeit in a style I'm not fond of.

I suppose I'll try to make that more obvious in the first post.

Just updated it with a couple of 'don't assume these models are at all what I'm looking for' messages spritzed into the reference sprites. Should be more obvious now.

i´d LOVE to do something but since i still have hard time with large sprites, i think i could participade by making the game´s icons(it all depends on wether my mother will do something about my notebook)

Sorry Mabel and Joseph for not replying sooner, but I've lost my enthusiasm for the forums here. Feel free to see the first post as to why. I'm still interested in what the two of you may have to offer, but I suggest taking it to PMs as I won't be extending this particular thread any further. (Or PMing me some sort of alternate contact if you actually want to keep in touch, as I won't be checking my PMs on here but once every blue moon)

Anyways. This project is not dead. It's just being moved as these forums are just not the place for serious spriters, it would seem. Or at least, that's the impression I get from Grooveman.

If anyone else cares to get paid for unique spritework (I.e. Not rips) feel free to drop me a PM and we'll talk.
