Charizard

Awesome start, though I think the top of the neck where his connects should be a bit thicker.

the charizard doesn't seem like it's in style. you should make it more like the bowser by exaggerating the proportions just a little, especially the head.

Hope you don't mind, I didn't think the face looked like Charizard, so I made a quick edit:

He should be leaning forward more.

Yeah the lower jaw was the biggest problem I had. Your's is a bit too rounded IMO Josh. but you did improve the snout part a lot.

1 is my newest, 2 is Josh's edit, 3 is original

@Tyvon: I was just messing around with the stance a bit. Bowser was hunched a lot in brawl and we straightened him up in our sprite, so I tried something similar. If it doesn't looks better, I can easily change it.

EDIT: bottom right is hunched over, left is upright

I'm not a good spriter by any means, but I tried my best to correct what I thought was wrong:

Could be hunched over a little bit more.

@Sengir: IMO it's way too dark without the lightest shade, but it does look better without the outline on the belly. I think the further back head spike on your's sticks out too much and looks more like a rabbit ear than a horn.

So one more try.
Not so hunched and hunched. I think I got the head right this time though.

Looks good.
Is the female trainer gonna have a female Charizard then or her own different Pokemon?

Charizard doesn't have gender differences, and I don't even know if we're using the Female Trainer.

Edit: Update with arms and on outline of the wings

fix his belly shading more like sengir's, your darkest shade has too much contrast. His shading is also really blocky, and I personally like sengir's~

Which shading was blocky, the belly or the whole thing? Because aside from mine having an extra lightest shade, the shading on the body is pretty much the same. But yeah, here's new belly shading.

Looks great with the arms, but he still looks like he's not leaning far forward enough.
