Hi again, it's The Island again

That was one great demo to complement some very great sprites!

Since Marty let me give a try on his style, I'll post here. I'll update it on my topic, so I won't flood this one.

The result was kinda good, I suppose...

Awesome demo. This personal project of yours is turning out to be simply beautiful.

Awesome stuff man.

The dithering on the clouds is unneeded in my opinion- too rough and it'd be better smooth, or with less harsh dithering. You could probably tone it down.

Good work so far, though! Awesome demo.

Coloring it solid would make the clouds stand out more than they do already. I don't want that.

Big Grin

But the green soldier looks unbalanced. And a bit more shading on his helmet would be nice.

He's sticking his chest out. And YOU try to shade it without it look silly.

...I see you made another girl in the style. Who's that?

About the soldier: hmm, okay. But I still think you should shade the helmet a bit more. I don't know how it'll turn out if you shade it, but I'm pretty sure it needs to have more (or at least, equal) shading than a fabric cap.

Rest is pretty much awesome Smile That guy with buck tooth and glasses is funny!

And... well, you know... I had to try the style again. It keeps me relaxed (school is very tiring...). I was spriting at my aunt's house, but I had to save it somewhere to continue at home. Since I hadn't any stuff to save it, I threw it in imageshack and pasted it in my sig. Pretty poor move, because this was meant to be some kind of surprise Sad

Anyway, I tried to sprite my sword-bearing girl (also, an original character). You can see her in my topic. Her name's Decie.
The one with red hair... is secret, I think... I'll finish her and post in my thread, check it when I'm done Tongue

PS: I think that my sprites don't fit 100% to the style, since I shade a bit more than you :/
